This is the second fatality and the fourth shooting of the day, coming just a matter of minutes after Jesús Arellano was shot at the same intersection.

Watch closely and you will see photojournalist Jorge Tortoza come into the frame from the left and collapse. The bullet comes from the pro-Chávez crowd and catches him on the left side of the head, behind the ear. Malvina Pesate, an opposition protestor in a yellow t-shirt, will step into the middle of the frame, then she too is shot in the head from the pro-Chávez crowd (although government spokesmen would claim that she was shot from behind by her own people). I'll let you decide.

If you look closely, you can see Malvina's boyfriend, Gorka Lacasa, running toward Jorge Tortosa after he is hit, as described in The Silence and the Scorpion. After Malvina is shot, you can hear bystanders shouting, "Es plomo, es plomo!" It's lead, it's lead! in surprise that people are shooting at them.

Where do you want to go?
